The preparation for this trip has been plagued with mishap after mishap. Thought we had gotten over it all when the clutch on the truck went, at only 50thousand km I was screaming then the response by Nissan that it would take a week to sort, saw me losing my cool. The woman calmly listened to me scream then asked me to jump through some hoops with timing, then she started running the phones hot, getting parts from all over the place promising it in 3 days instead. Monday saw work start and tuesday night she rings me to say I can pick it up wednesday afternoon that she had pulled a guy off another job to get two guys working on it, not sure whose car didn't get fixed but Nissan has my vote at the moment. Several other mishaps have eaten up my days but still hope to see the van packed tomorrow ready for us to hit the road Sunday. Things have to go smoothly from now on in, there can't be anything else to go wrong, even the poor post box suffered in our cause.
Hi Jo
ReplyDeleteHope departure Woonona went well. Spent the day cooking. Your cheese contributed to a monster lasagne. Brad took Loch & Sam ice skating at St Mary's Cathedral. They had a great time. Back at work tomorrow. Hope to hear from you soon. Love M
