Renahans bore and beyond

Lazy morning packing up with Renahans bore " worth a look" on the way through. More corrugations and a blissful 10 km of bitumen even with line markings, not sure why it was there. This end of the Tannamai is a car wreckers lot, lost count of the number of wrecked vehicles some obviously stolen and dumped after stripping others obviously set up for traveling that had been stripped including quite new vehicles and their campers. Have come to the decision that you do the Tannamai to achieve it rather than the spectacular scenery, much more lush than we espected but basically flatlands with green / grey scrub with some bird life, literally nothing to remark on. Renhans bore proved to be nothing more than a dumping site and the promised water having not run for a long time so we moved on. Found a nice spot close to Chilla creek filling the afternoon with reading, wood collecting and lazing in preparation for another night star and fire gazing.
